These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Akon One platform, its 16 apps, and this website (together, the “Platform”), operated by Akontec Synergy Pvt Ltd (CIN U70200WB2026PTC288824) (“Akontec”, “we”, “us”). By creating an Akon ID or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Platform and our role

Akon One is a technology platform that connects users with independent, verified service partners — restaurants, doctors, advocates, astrologers, sellers, contractors and other professionals — across 16 service categories. Unless expressly stated otherwise, services are provided by those partners, and Akontec acts as the platform operator facilitating discovery, ordering, payment and support.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Platform.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your Akon ID. Keep your OTPs and device secure and never share them.
• One Akon ID signs you into all apps on the Platform; app-specific terms shown at the point of use apply in addition to these Terms.

3. Orders, bookings and pricing

• Prices, fees and taxes are shown before you confirm any order or booking. Confirming constitutes your offer to purchase, accepted when the partner confirms.
• Cancellation and refund rules vary by app and are shown at the point of order; refunds are tracked in your Akon Pay passbook.
• Professional consultations (medical, legal, financial, astrological and similar) provide the professional's independent advice; Akontec does not itself provide medical, legal, financial or investment advice.

4. Payments and Akon Coins

• Payments are processed by RBI-regulated payment partners. You authorise us and them to process the transactions you initiate.
• Akon Coins are a promotional platform benefit — not legal tender, money or a deposit. They are non-transferable, non-encashable, and subject to earn rates, redemption limits and validity shown in the app, which we may modify prospectively.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform — including placing fraudulent orders, abusing offers or referral programs, harassing partners or staff, uploading unlawful content, attempting to breach security, scraping the Platform, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Service partners

Partners are independent businesses and professionals responsible for the services they deliver and for holding the licences their category requires. We verify partners as described on the Platform and act on ratings and complaints, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome of a partner's service.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform, the Akon One and Akontec names and marks, and all associated content and software are owned by or licensed to Akontec. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Akontec's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Platform in any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid to Akontec as platform fees in that period. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your statutory consumer rights.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Akontec against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, unlawful activity or risk to the Platform, its users or partners.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, courts at Kolkata, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
